The Chain of Responsibility has been around for a number of years. There has been a lost of media attention over the last number of months on the future of the Chain of Responsibility.

The Transport and logistic industry has been heavily publicised and scrutinised over the last number of years over the role that they play in their responsibilities.

In mid 2018 the rules will change a little bit more and will be more closely aligned with work health and safety

Players outside the Transport & Logistics industry who utilised road transport currently have a responsibility to be involved and be aware of their responsibility, in relation to the Chain of Responsibility; including ensuring their loading and freight management practices are in place to ensure their freight gets to its destination, with as little fuss or safety uncertainty as possible.

The National Heavy Regulator will be looking at business practice of both the Transport and consignor/ receiver in the event of any accident or incident involving heavy vehicle.

    Speaker: Nicole Eckels

Co-Founder and Creative Director of Glasshouse Fragrances

Nicole launched Glasshouse Fragrances in 2006 with a spark of imagination and a belief in the power of fragrance to transform the everyday. Since its launch nearly a decade ago, Glasshouse Fragrances has quickly grown to become a leading brand in the Australian fragrance market.

Born and raised in New York, it was in Australia that she found her ‘true calling’. While shopping in David Jones to replace a beloved candle purchased in New York City, Nicole couldn’t find what she was looking for. Noting the high-end brands from Europe and non-fragranced, low-end brands, Nicole saw a clear gap in the market and, from a spark of imagination, Glasshouse Fragrances was born.
